About the Artist

Steve Jackson is a stained glass artist based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, UK.

I use both lead and copper foil techniques, as well as fused glass approaches to make attractive and unusual 3D glass artwork, using recycled antique glass and wood wherever possible. Whilst people usually come across stained glass that is of the traditional or religious kind I believe that there is great potential to create more modern, vibrant and unusual designs, and incorporate them into 3D display pieces, from the small to the large.

Enquiries about commissions or repairs welcome. The cost of making a commissioned stained glass window can be estimated based on £120/sq.ft using standard machine rolled glass (rondels, antique or hand made glass etc. would add to the cost)

“Steve accepted a commission from us to create a panel for above the back door
in our Edwardian house. He was a pleasure to deal with giving quick and
very helpful answers to our emails, guiding us through the process.
We’re delighted with the result and highly recommend his services. We
also thought the price was very fair and reasonable.”

“Loved Steve’s collaborative approach in designing and creating our window. It gives much pleasure watching the sun shining through the glass with all the different colours and textures he used.”

“Steve first created abstract sketches for us to choose from and modify. We then worked with him to choose colours and layout and he created this wonderful piece of art for us. It is beautifully crafted and we couldn’t be more delighted with the result!”
