Steve Jackson is a stained glass artist based in Leamington Spa
I use both leadwork and copper foil techniques to make 3D stained glass sculptures. I use recycled antique glass and wood wherever possible to create attractive and unusual display pieces. The beauty of light filtered through stained glass can be so wonderous and emotive. Whilst people usually come across stained glass that is of the traditional or religious kind I believe that there is great potential to create more modern, vibrant and unusual designs, and incorporate them into 3D sculptures, from the small to the large.
I am also able to restore and/or repurpose old pieces of stained glass into elegant and interesting pieces.
Complementing this I am also a collector and purveyor of beautiful and unusual glass sculptures and ornaments.
